Did that dog just talk?

Has anyone ever noticed that no one really comments in all of the incarnations of scooby-doo that the dog can talk? You would think a talking dog that helps to solve mysteries would be a big deal in the world of Scooby-Doo. It's weird that only very rarely does anyone bring up how bizarre this is even though he sounds like he has a severe speech impediment. Either talking animals are common in the world of scooby-doo or they are very accepting of something very strange. Perhaps that is why people dress up like ghosts and monsters in order to commit crimes they just assume people will think that the supernatural is real and that those beings are committing crimes for reasons unknown. What a weird place to live talking dogs, teenagers that run around solving mysteries with little to no parental supervision, and criminals that have very strange wardrobes.

That old fable about the tortoise and the hare

I have been think lately about that old fable about the tortoise and the hare and have come to the conclusion that it is complete crap. Think about it. A hare is much faster then a tortoise and in most circumstances a hare will win any distance competion against a slow moving reptile such as a tortoise. The hare only lost because it got lazy and decided to rest up before it crossed the finish line, which is unrealistic because if you are in the middle of the race you are not going to stop and take a nap. Even then in order to have given the tortoise any chance to catch up with the hare it must have sleeped for two days straight. The moral I take from this is slow and steedy will not win the race if you are racing against a much faster opponent that won't stop to take naps at inopportune times

Hey I am blogging here

I have a lot of random ideas some are deaper then others and some are just for comedic value. I created this blog so that I might have a place to put these things because I am running out of room in my garage. Please enjoy and by all means comment. I dont pretend that this will be anything that important or earth shattering but everyone needs a hobby.
